Stop worrying. Move to California.

I feel like I should update the world on my life - not that it's even remotely exciting.

Joe was here for 10 days over break and we didn't kill eachother. Generally a good sign, methinks :) I'm leaving tomorrow to spend my "spring break" with him.

After that things are sort of up in the air. I graduate in April. Or, that's the plan anyway as long as I can keep my shit together. I've applied for jobs all over the place, but no bites yet. I'm also waiting to hear back from the University of Colorado about grad school, so a big move may be in the near future. Or maybe not. At this point I'll do about anything to stay out of my parent's house lol.

In other news...the ATM outside my office has been beeping non stop all morning. Not cool. I think it should give me money as an apology.

I really do have no life.

So, you know that list I posted on Thursday? Yeah. None of that stuff got done lol. After the GA meeting, half the eBoard went out to Applebees for drinks. But seriously, I'm a college student, it's finals time, that stuff is important too, right?!

Yesterday I went to visit Amy, did some work at the Network with her, and she looked over my resume for me. She gave me some good pointers that resulted in reformatting it AGAIN. 3rd time's the charm, it seems.

I really have to knuckle down and get some work done today.

- <strike>Eat lunch</strike>
- <strike>Do dishes</strike>
- <strike>Shower</strike>
- <strike>Pick up room</strike>

- <strike>Finish cover letter and have it proof read</strike>
- <strike>Send resume and cover letter to AACT</strike>

HOMEWORK
- <strike>Send angry marketing email to group members</strike>
- Finish dance outline
- Finish dance paper
- Dance reading logs
- CMT topical summary
- CMT research essay
- Art hist. quizzes
- Work on the website

Ugh. So much to do. I should go to the library, but it's snowing. And the library will be a zoo, so I'd have to take my laptop.

19 days, 7 hours and 55 minutes until Joe is here. :)

HAPPY SINGLES AWARENESS DAY!

I thought I might actually have someone to spend Valentine's Day with this year, but things didn't quite work out as planned. Such is life. I'll be spending it with my one true love instead: theatre. Heh.

All Night Strut is going really well. Damn easiest crew I've ever been on. Come check it out if you haven't already. Today, tomorrow and Saturday at 7.

Brecht rehearsals start Friday. It's been hard to get back into the swing of things after being gone for so long. So far, I love Pirooz and Austin, the AD, is a hoot. Should be a fun show.

Things are looking up since last semester. I've decided to keep my job/free housing for next year, so I'll be in Ypsi for the summer. I have a summer internship all lined up. Actually, I have 2 lined up and I have to get up the nerve to tell the community band that I got a better offer. I'll be working with the Marketing Director at Performance Network. SO EXCITED!

Classes are...yeah. I'm still gonna graduate on time, and that's pretty much all I care about at this point.

Choir is fabulous. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I got back into it.

Change is good :)

I'm sorry to those of you that have had to interact with me over the past 3 days. Especially at work, since I've been snapping at everyone. I just want to go home. I miss my family and my friends.

Good news:
My grades weren't as good as I would have liked them to be, but (with the exception of one) they weren't as bas as they could have been, either. My GPA actually isn't taking that much of a hit.

I have 2 new hires at work so we won't be understaffed next semester. I'm gonna miss Jackie like mad, though.

I'm psyched about my new classes. Especially women's chorus.

I'm going to continue work with my internship next semester and actually get paid for it. I have one guaranteed internship for the summer and I'm keeping my fingers crossed on another.

I'm stage managing next semester. I haven't decided if that's good or bad yet.

As of yesterday we have a Christmas tree at home. I was really starting to think I would have to kick some fatherly ass on that one.

All in all, things seem to be getting back on track in their own mixed up sort of ways.

DONE! Done! I'm finished, my finals are over! The semester of endless shit is finally over and I couldn't be happier.

Wait...yes I could. I'm at work and I just found cheesecake brownie. I'm definately happier now. MMmmmmmmm....

Today is a good day. I woke up sore from head to toe and I was late to my final, but by some miracle I'm in a fantastic mood today. Last night Jenny, Katie, their friend Ashley and I watched Death Proof (the second feature from Grindhouse). It's hilarious and so are we, so it was a good night. OH! And we exchanged our Christmas presents. Jenny got me smut! And Katie loves her little robotic dancing cyclops puppy, even though she's not ready to admit it yet.

Next week, I don't have anything to do but work and dread the day my grades are posted, and then Friday I'm going home. It'll be lonely once Katie and Jenny leave me, though :( I think they'll both be gone by Wednesday. If anyone is still around/willing to make the drive come visit! For the first time ever I have Christmas parties to go to this year. One at the Arts Alliance and the other with my coworkers.

I've been rambling for almost an hour, so I guess I'll be done now. Tata!
